The Lord Protector of Triboar

6th Mirtul

We arrive in Triboar in the late evening and head straight to the Lord Protector's Tower.  We speak to the guard and convince him to allow us to enter and an audience with Darathra.  Darathra grants us an audience, but before we explain much, there are loud screams from outside.
Darathra jumps up and takes a Greatsword from it's hanging on the wall, and runs outside, telling us to come back later.
We follow her outside where an Ankheg is fighting with some of the town guards.  We join the fight and help Darathra and her guards defeat the Ankheg, and a second which burrows up from underground.

Between gulping air back into her lungs following the battle, Darathra says she can now see why Chariz trusted us with this information, but says we should go and rest tonight and return tomorrow when she will talk more, but she must see to the needs of her town and the welfare of her guards now.  As she is helping her guards back to the Lord Protector's Tower, she calls over her shoulder that we will be able to find space in Northshield House.
We meet the proprietress Ursula at the Inn.  There's a minstrel singing a ballad about St. Oswin, the hero and founder of Triboar.
